Thank you, for purchasing Hair 670, hair extensions. We are confident that you will adore your hair extensions. To ensure you get the best use of your product and preserve the lifespan of your hair extensions we have enclosed a hair care list. We don’t guarantee a definitive lifespan on any type of hair extensions due to them being a natural consumable product and the type of maintenance each customer provides to their hair. Nor do we guarantee that you will not experience some shedding. Thus, all hair sheds even your own natural hair. However, if properly cared for your hair, extensions can last from one to two years and shedding can be reduced to a minimal. You must remember it’s very important to take care of your hair extensions as you would your own natural hair and remember that like your natural hair, your extensions can be easily damaged if not properly cared for.

  1. Wash the hair in warm water with mild shampoo, hair mask, and conditioner. Wash the hair gently in a downward motion with your palms, do not scrub or bunch the hair together as this will cause open cuticles to rub against each other causing friction. We recommend that you wash your hair extensions at a minimum once every 3 weeks.

  2. Let the hair air dry for best results. If, blow dryer is desired ensure it is used on a cool setting as heat may cause damage by drying out the follicles and causing the hair to become frizzy.

  3. Argan oils and Silk infusion serums are extremely beneficial and safe to use on the hair as they help hydrate and moisturize the hair. Using these types of products is essential to the hair extension because it cannot produce natural oils like your own hair can. These products will help preserve your hair. If the hair extensions become dry and damaged treat the hair with an intense hydrator, leave in moisturizer or leave-in conditioner once or twice a week to revive the hair.

  4. Heated styling tools such as curling irons, flat irons and heated curling rollers can be used on the hair extension to help create your desired hairstyle. However, please remember to gently apply a small amount of heat protection product to your hair extension beforehand to help prevent any thermal damage.

  5. Always comb or brush hair from the ends first versus starting at the root (weft). This will help reduce any possible tangling. Never use a regular bristle brush on the hair extension for this may cause breakage.

  6. Professional care from a licensed hairstyles is recommended.

  1. Do not brush the hair extension when it’s wet, as this is when hair follicles are at their most vulnerable stage.

  2. Avoid shampoo and conditioning products which contains Sulfates, Isopropyl Alcohol, Formaldehyde and Propylene Glycol, these are strong chemicals which will strip the hair extension of oils and leave them dry, brittle and sometimes damaged if used for a prolonged period of time. Products that contain Sulfate and Alcohol will cause tangling, matting and excessive shedding. Opt for products free of these chemicals.

  3. Avoid salt water, as salt is a natural dehydrator and it can cause your hair to become extremely dry, discolored, and extremely difficult to manage. Also avoid getting your hair wet in chlorinated pools as this water will also damage the hair extension causing tangling, matting and discoloration.

  4. Avoid high volume bleaching. As this will cause the hair extension to become dry. If hair dying is desired, then we recommend using toners and semi-permanent hair dyes. We also remind you that adding these types of chemicals changes your hair from being unprocessed to now processed hair thus, we recommend you properly hydrate and moisturize the hair after this type of treatment.

  5. Avoid using regular hair bristles brushes on your hair extensions. As regular bristle brushes may cause breakage and snapping of the hair, which is often confused with shedding. Instead, use brushes which are designed for hair extensions.

Do not use excessive heat on the hair extension. As this may cause heat damage causing the hair to shed or break.
